1976 17-30A

I am in the process of re doing this 1976 17-30A Bellanca and will keep the progress of her on this page.

The first thing was to remove the original interior and replace it with new leather that is FAA approved. The carpet will also be replaced with FAA approved material.

I have removed the portable intercom and replaced it with a panel mounted PM1000II four place stereo with a music input jack

This Bellanca Will Be For Sale In Late March of 2006

12/10/2005 Removed both main landing gears and the nose gear. Checked the bushings to make sure they were in tolarance. Changed the fluid in the struts and removed all the old paint. Re painted the legs and re packed all the bearings. Serviced all the grease fittings.

12/29/2005 I just finished the new leather interior. I removed the ash trays in the backs of the front seats and left the ones up front. They make great holders for pens and pencils along with other uses. Next I will be adjusting the cable tensions on the controls. They need to have about 19 pounds of tension and they have none right now. After that comes the paint work. The gold stripe will be changed to a dove grey to match the interior. There are some areas of paint that need some attention also.
